Overlook is fortunate to have staff that have worked here for many years with an average longevity greater than 10 years. Many of our employees started working in the dietary, housekeeping, laundry, and activity departments, then through further education were promoted to higher level positions. Many of our nurses worked as a C.N.A. and/or Medtech prior to completing their nursing license.
Lori Pendleton, Administrator
Lori graduated from Wheelock College in 1988 with a bachelor’s degree in Social Work. She worked several years as a Social Worker in both Long-Term Care and Hospital settings. She became licensed as a Nursing Home Administrator in 1995 and has worked in this role ever since. When not working, Lori enjoys spending time with her 8 grandchildren and relaxing at home with her husband David and her Cat “Fergie”.
Stacy Gemma, Director of Nursing
Stacy has been part of the Overlook Family for over 20 years. She received a degree in Business Administration from Rhode Island College in 2000. She began her career in healthcare as a CNA then CMT in 2001 and received her nursing degree in 2009 from Tri-County Vocational. She went on to receive her bachelor’s in health sciences/Management from URI in 2012. She received her bachelor’s in nursing from Excelsior in 2019. Stacy is married with 3 beautiful children.
SueAnn Harrington, Activity Director
I began my career in Nursing homes as a C.N.A. My interest in activities derived from that experience and from my love for the elderly. I continued my education at CCRI and received my MEEPAP1 in 2004. I worked in various Activity positions in a few different Nursing homes while continuing to attend classes. I received my MEPAP 2 in 2013 and my NCCAP in 2019. I have been employed at Overlook for the past year. When I am not working, I enjoy being with my two children, my husband and my four cats.
Christine Bonoyer, ADON
I started working at Overlook in 1986-1989 then moved to Aroostook County Maine. I graduated from the University of Maine at Orono in 1993 with BSN. I continued my nursing career at Houlton Regional hospital med surg/ER/ICU. I relocated back to Burrillville in 1998, I worked as an RN at Overlook for a year, then went to Day Kimball and Zambrano until 2008 when I returned back to Overlook. My current position is the Assistant Director of Nursing.
Colette Loynds, Payroll, Human Resources and Accounts Payable
I am a CPA with a degree in accounting from the University of R.I. I have over 34 years of experience and have been employed at Overlook for the past 21 years. I previously worked for a local CPA firm that specialized in long term care and worked as a controller for another local assisted living and nursing center. In my spare time I enjoy traveling with my husband and 2 children, hiking the trails with my dog Max and am an avid Red Sox fan.
Brenda Mislick, Business Office Manager
I have worked in the business office, nursing home setting since 2012. Prior to that I worked in medical billing for 15 years. I enjoy traveling, especially to Disney and visiting my children and grandchildren.
Robert Campanelle, Food Services Director
Robert Campanella received his Bachelors of Science Degree in Hotel/Restaurant/Institutional Management from Johnson & Wales University. His career, including restaurant, hospital, and nursing home experience, spans forty-two years in the food service industry. He resides in Chepachet, Rhode Island with his wife and five children.
Kim Lockwood, Director of Rehab
I attended NEIT after an extended stay at home to raise my two children. I have been married for 25 years and enjoy spending time with family & friends.
I have been a Physical Therapist Assistant for 8 years practicing in outpatient and skilled nursing facilities. My current position of four years is the Director of Rehab at Overlook. Working in acute rehabilitation is a rewarding experience daily. I also enjoy working with the geriatric population and being able to make a difference in their day-to-day lives.
Tina Latondress, MDS
Tina has been employed at Overlook for over 27 years. She started as a C.N.A. then worked as a Med Tech. Tina graduated CCRI in 1994 with an Associate in Nursing and has worked as a licensed RN since, currently as the MDS coordinator. She received her Resident Assessment Coordinator Certification this year. Tina’s hobbies include photography, kayaking and hiking.
Nicole Burns, Social Worker
My name is Nicole Burns. I have been a social worker for over 20 years. I received my master’s degree in Agency Counseling from R.I. College. I worked with several age groups, however, the elderly population holds a special place in my heart. I have been married since 2010 and am the proud mom of 2 amazing boys. It is an absolute pleasure to be part of the outstanding team at Overlook Nursing Home.
Dara Ferschke, Social Worker
My name is Dara Ferschke. I graduated in 2014 with my Bachelors of Social Work from Rhode Island College. I have had the privilege of learning and working as a long term care social worker over the past 10 years. I wholeheartedly enjoy working with the elderly and disabled population. When I am not at work, you can usually find me immersed in nature, hiking, golfing, or going to the lake or beach. I have been a lifelong resident of Pascoag, I currently still reside here at my home with my husband Darin and our daughter Fiona.
Tammie Parkhurst
My Name is Tammie Parkhurst. I graduated from CCRI in 1994 receiving my LPN license. I returned to college one year later receiving my RN license. I spent the last 15 years of my career working in long term care primarily in Infection Control and Staff Education. My favorite thing to do is read a good book sitting in front of my wood stove.
